Tempus Unlimited is seeking a community-based Skills Trainer for the Personal Care Attendant program in the Dighton, MA area. The role trains consumers and surrogates to manage their PCA services and supports the Skills Training department with program-wide tasks.

Travel within a 60‑mile radius is required, with a 2‑day orientation in Stoughton and 2–3 weeks of training. The position is full-time (35 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, with mileage reimbursement and a preference for

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing services for people with disabilities is preferred.
• Experience or education in teaching or counseling is helpful.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service systems is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.

Aufgaben

• Follow up on assigned functional skills training in a timely manner as determined by contract.
• Assess consumers' and/or surrogates’ ability to manage PCA services.
• Train consumer and/or surrogate with the skills needed to manage their PCA program as outlined in Mass Health Service Agreement.
• Maintain confidentiality in all consumer related issues.
• Attend in-person or virtual trainings and meetings as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
