Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Community Based Personal Care Management Skills Trainer to educate consumers on managing their consumer-directed PCA care and to perform department-wide tasks. The role requires travel within a 60-mile radius, a valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm).

The position offers $21 per hour with mileage reimbursement. Orientation in Stoughton and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing services for people with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of PCA programs is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and writing skills required.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers on managing PCA services.
• Assess consumer ability to manage PCA program.
• Train consumers and surrogates in PCA skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Travel within 60-mile radius of home address.
• Attend orientation and training sessions as required.
• Document and track required documentation within timelines.
• Return calls and emails within specified hours.
