Job summary

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Community-based Skills Trainer for the Personal Care Attendant Program in the Dighton, MA area. The role involves educating consumers and surrogates to manage their PCA program and supporting department-wide training tasks.

The position is full-time (35 hours weekly), with travel within a 60-mile radius, mileage reimbursement, and a starting pay of $21 per hour. Requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; in-person orientation/training will occur

Qualifications

• Experience providing services for people with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of PCA programs is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with Outlook/Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Educate consumers and surrogates on managing their consumer-directed hands-on care program.
• Perform skills training tasks and support department-wide processes.
• Follow Mass Health Service Agreement and PCM Contract for trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality and document progress notes in real time.
• Provide training and ongoing EVV support and attendance at trainings/meetings.
