Right at Home, LLC is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and disabled adults in the North Central Indianapolis area. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and a range of benefits. Experience is preferred; CNAs and HHAs are a plus.

You will support clients with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship. Caregivers are essential team members who promote independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Assists with hygiene, ambulation, dressing, grooming, feeding.
• Engagement activities with client.
• Assists with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Meal preparation.
• Performing homemaking activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms).

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
