Job summary

Right at Home, LLC is seeking dependable caregivers to join our in-home care team in the Indianapolis area. You will assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living, provide companionship and follow a nurse-approved plan of care in clients' homes.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for bonuses and paid mileage. Training and development are provided to help you grow in your role as a trusted caregiver while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
