Right at Home, LLC in Indianapolis is seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our in-home care team. We provide care for seniors and disabled adults with flexible schedules and competitive pay.

As a Caregiver, you will perform personal care tasks, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship according to care plans, with paid training and opportunities for advancement. We welcome CNAs and HHAs and encourage applications now.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and listen actively to clients and office staff.
• Reliable and able to maintain a safe home environment.
• Entry-level friendly; certified credentials are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities according to plan of care.
• Assists with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Provides ADL assistance including ambulation and feeding.
• Prepares meals, performs homemaking tasks, and light chores.
• Engages clients with activities and social interaction.
• Assists with prescribed range of motion exercises when directed.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
