Job summary

Right at Home, LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and disabled adults in their homes in the North Central Indianapolis area. We offer flexible schedules, immediate starts, and various shifts. Experience is preferred; CNAs and HHAs are a plus.

You’ll help clients stay independent at home with personal care and daily living activities. We provide training and development, weekly pay, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Dependability.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly.
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Personal hygiene assistance (bathroom, bedpan, bathing, mouth/skin/hair care).
• Assists with ambulation and dressing.
• Assists with grooming and feeding.
• Engages patient in activities (puzzles, card games, conversation).
• Performs nurse-directed tasks such as range of motion exercises.
• Meal preparation per instruction.
• Light homemaking (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, laundry, dishes).

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient‑specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
