Right at Home Indianapolis Southeast, IN is seeking caring individuals to join our in-home care team. You will provide essential personal care and support to seniors and disabled adults, following a care plan and nursing guidelines.

The role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for bonuses. As a caregiver, you’ll assist with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and engage clients in meaningful activities.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient‑specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

Verbal communication and listening skills Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment Dependability Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile Communicate effectively with office staff regularly Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
