• High school diploma or ability to read/write preferred.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety precautions, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Following client aide plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assisting with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep (including special diets), feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using appropriate equipment.
• Maintaining a safe, clean environment and notifying supervisors of any hazards or changes in client condition.
• Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights while providing quality care within scope.
• Encouraging clients' independence and monitoring their well-being.
• Assisting with secondary tasks like laundry, light cleaning, and grocery shopping, as needed.
• Only assisting with self-administration of medications, never administering directly.
• Reporting any suspected abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately.
