Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, including special diet needs.
• Supporting clients with self-help activities and encouraging independence.
• Utilizing safety precautions, infection control procedures, and special equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
• Performing secondary tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping for clients.
• Completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Respecting client privacy, confidentiality, and rights, and providing quality care within scope.
• Monitoring client conditions, reporting any concerns or unusual changes to supervisors.
• Assisting only with medication self-administration, not direct medication delivery.
• Reporting abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately.
