Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; reading and writing ability required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience with references.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide basic personal care and follow infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, ambulation, meals (special diets), feeding, and oral hygiene.
• Use walkers and wheelchairs; assist with transfers and mobility.

• Respect client confidentiality and privacy; provide quality care within scope.
• Support clients with self-help activities and secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping.
• Monitor for abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions and report promptly.

• Maintaining a clean, safe environment, notifying supervisors of concerns or changes in client condition.
• Respecting client confidentiality and privacy, providing quality care within scope, and seeking guidance when needed.
• Supporting clients with self-help activities and secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation.
• Monitoring for signs of abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions, and reporting them immediately.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience, validated through references.
