Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in West Virginia is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts, 8 pm to 8 am, with every other weekend required. You will join a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides delivering patient care in a group home setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, monitoring vitals, helping with mobility, and documenting changes. The role offers weekly pay, holiday pay, benefits, and EEO employment.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
