Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in West Virginia seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant for full-time shifts (8a-8p and 8p-8a every other weekend). Timings may flex to 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

You will care for residents, collaborate with RNs, LPNs and aides, assist with daily activities, monitor vitals, and document changes to ensure quality patient care. Active WV nursing assistant certification and CPR are required. The role offers weekly pay, holiday pay, referral bonuses, and comprehensive health benefits

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
