Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in West Virginia is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant to support residents in a group home setting. Shifts run 8:00–20:00 and 20:00–08:00 on alternate weekends, with flexible options to 7a–7p or 7p–7a where possible.

You will work with RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and document changes. Must hold WV CNA and CPR, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• WV Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature with good communication and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
