Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant in West Virginia for full-time day and night shifts in a group home setting. You will work with RNs, LPNs and aides to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with daily living activities.

Position requires WV CNA, CPR, and knowledge of healthcare regulations. Shifts run 8a-8p and 8p-8a on alternate weekends; times can flex to 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Earn $21/hour with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
