Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care for residents in West Virginia. You will support daily activities, monitor health needs and collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and aides to ensure quality patient care.

Full-time shifts run 8a-8p and 8p-8a with every-other weekend required; times may flex to 7a-7p. Benefits include weekly pay, holiday pay, medical/dental/vision coverage and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification WV.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communication and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal care and hygiene in a group home setting.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and nutrition.
• Support ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Check vitals, log intake/output and monitor glucose levels.
• Observe changes and notify supervisor as needed.

Overview

Compensation

$21/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.
