Job summary

Interim HealthCare in West Virginia is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients in a group home setting with personal care, daily living activities, and mobility assistance. Shifts include 12-hour coverage from 8p to 8a with health monitoring and vitals checks.

Qualified candidates hold an active WV Nursing Assistant Certification and CPR, and understand healthcare laws. Weekly pay, benefits, and referral bonuses are offered alongside EAP and medical plans.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification WV required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws preferred.
• Compassionate nature with good communication and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in a group home setting.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.
