Job summary

Interim HealthCare provides full-time nursing aide roles in a group home setting. The position requires shift coverage from 8a-8p and every other weekend, with flexible hours possible from 7a-7p.

Care includes assisting residents with daily activities, vital checks, and reporting changes to supervisors while working with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides. Certification in WV and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• WV Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal care and hygiene in a group home setting.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.

Compensation

$23/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.
