Job summary

Interim HealthCare provides full-time nursing assistant opportunities in a group home setting in West Virginia. Shifts run 8a-8p and 8p-8a every other weekend; flexibility may allow 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

You will care for residents with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides, assisting with bathing, meals, mobility, vitals, and daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification WV required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws/regulations.
• Compassionate and able to communicate well with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home setting.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with daily tasks: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Check vitals, track intake/output, monitor glucose and document changes.
• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor.

Compensation

$23/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of residents in a group home type setting.
• Work with a team of RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.
