Job summary

Interim HealthCare in West Virginia seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide personal care in a group home setting. 12-hour shifts run 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will assist with bathing, mobility, vital checks, and meal support, document changes, and report to your supervisor. Active WV CNA and CPR cert required; lifting up to 50 lbs; we offer holiday pay, benefits, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature and clear communication are essential.
• CPR certification is required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV required.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in a group home setting.
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, glucose, and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medications or equipment.

Compensation: $23/hourly

Job Responsibilities:

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in a group home type setting.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements:

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in WV.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.
