First Community Bank in Virginia is seeking a Personal Banker I to provide customers with accurate information about the Bank’s products and services, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints while upholding our policies and protecting confidential information.

This role focuses on establishing cordial relationships, promoting banking products, opening and servicing accounts, guiding customers through in-person and digital options, and contributing to branch goals and community initiatives.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years banking experience.
• Excellent customer service history.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Proficiency with banking platforms and office software.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Establish cordial relationships and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Inform and suggest new banking products to customers.
• Provide information to customers on their accounts and history.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Protect customers’ confidential information.
• Improve banking experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Demonstrate effective sales presentations for accounts.
• Introduce customers to Tell-A-Friend program and coupons.
• Assist customers with in-person and digital banking options.
• Promote technology channels to expand client base.
• Open and service accounts per procedures.
• Minimize deposit exceptions and prevent account closures.
• Refer customers to Wealth, Mortgage, Commercial, and Treasury services.
• Perform branch operations as assigned by Branch Manager.
• Support marketing campaigns to grow customer base.
• Explain consumer loan terms and process loan applications.
