Job summary

MedScope Installation is seeking a Field Technician/Installer to perform on-site setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients' homes. You will coordinate with members/caregivers, ensure devices are installed correctly, and educate users on usage and maintenance.

The role is 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling and SLA-driven timelines. Travel to client homes is required, and candidates must meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and provide valid driver’s license, registration and auto insurance documentation.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address, smartphone with voicemail and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently.
• Commitment to meeting/exceeding service level requirements.
• Field technician, cable/alarm installation experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
