Independent Field Technician – Flexible PERS Install

Job summary

MedScope Installation is seeking a Field Technician/Installer (1099) to install and service PERS devices in members\' homes. You set availability; jobs are assigned and coordination occurs directly with clients and caregivers. Most installations are quick, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include delivering and testing equipment, educating users, and maintaining records. A valid driver\'s license, ability to travel, and background checks are required; prior installation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vehicle and valid driver\'s license with insurance.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and travel to member homes.
• Commitment to meeting/exceeding service level requirements.
• Field technician/installation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and interactions using company software.
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators for seamless service.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during installations.
