Job summary

MedScope is seeking an independent contractor Field Technician/Installer to perform in-home installations of Personal Emergency Response System equipment. You will coordinate with members and caregivers, complete set-up and testing, and educate users on device features. Ability to travel to client homes and work with safety protocols is required.

Compensation is paid per trip with mileage-based rates. You set your availability and capacity; most installs are quick and non-hourly.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license/insurance.
• Willingness to complete background checks and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling with clients.
• Install, set up and test PERS equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients and caregivers on device usage and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues during installation and document outcomes.
• Maintain records of installations and service calls in company software.
