Job summary

MedScope is seeking Field Technician/Installer to travel to member homes for installation and testing of personal emergency response equipment. You will coordinate appointments, educate caregivers on device use, and troubleshoot issues on site.

Role is a 1099 independent contractor with pay by trip based on mileage. Maintain records, sign paperwork via DocuSign, and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have vehicle and provide valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address and smartphone with voicemail; basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and meet service levels.
• Field technician/installation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain records of installations, service calls and client interactions using company software.
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators for seamless support.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies.
