Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Permission Planner to join our team. The role involves communicating with property owners to obtain permission for tree trimming near high‑voltage facilities and coordinating vegetation-related work across job sites.

The position emphasizes customer service, GIS usage, scheduling, and adherence to safety and operational standards. A valid driver’s license is required, and CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of arboricultural, horticultural, or vegetation-related experience OR a 2- or 4-year degree in a related subject.
• Experience with Utility Vegetation Management is preferred.
• ISA/CTSP/OSHA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Discuss access, power interruption, and required work with the customer or property owner.
• Address responsibility for visible property damage and handle repairs for minor damage, referring disputed cases to the General Foreperson.
