Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to ensure safe productivity of a crew and conduct required training. The role involves operating and servicing field equipment, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining records with a focus on safety and customer relations.

The successful candidate will have leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours during emergencies. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain needed licenses are required, with a strong

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species.
• Ability to walk, climb and work from ladders or at heights.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Capable of independent action without close supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Arms/shoulders strength to work above head for extended periods.
• Weight limit around 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with ladders, rope, or ground methods and lowers pieces safely.
• Uses wedges, saws, and tools to fell trees and cut logs into manageable pieces.
• Loads and unloads trucks and handles materials at worksites.
• Operates and services equipment such as saws, chippers, and sprayers.
• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from higher supervision.
• Performs field training and retraining for crew members on new tasks.
• Ensures safety practices in line with policies and OSHA requirements.
• Interacts with property owners and coordinates access for work.
• Maintains records and reports of orders completed and crew activity.
