Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Kentucky seeks a Foreperson to drive daily field operations for utility vegetation management. You will plan crew tasks, coordinate with management, and ensure safety protocols are enforced on site while mentoring crew members.

This role requires CDL, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate with property owners and customers. You’ll report on work completed, keep records, and help control costs while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to travel for storm work.
• Must be able to safely drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses access issues with property owners and coordinates with supervisors.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Maintains equipment and tools and ensures safety.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
