Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily field operations, coordinating crew tasks with management on hiring needs, scheduling, and safety compliance. The role emphasizes mentoring and training while driving productive performance and client satisfaction.

This position requires strong leadership, planning ability, OSHA-safe practices, and ongoing maintenance of equipment and records. A CDL is required for this role and pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Independent action with minimal supervision.
• CDL required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work scope; escalates issues as needed.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations and completes assigned work efficiently.
• Maintains crew records and reports of work performed and incidents.
