Job summary

Bristol Farms is seeking a Manager of Perishables to supervise Bakery & DSD, Café, Catering, and several perishables departments. You will ensure food safety compliance, lead a team, and work with the Store Director to uphold company policies and performance standards.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching abilities, and the capacity to manage labor, inventory, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and development of employees under direct supervision.
• Oversee New-Hire onboarding activities for employees under direct supervision.
• Resolve customer issues, internally and externally, following policy and improving satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly and concisely across teams and with management.
• Provide coaching and feedback to build effective teams.
• Manage P&L, inventory, and budget targets for supervised staff.
• Control labor costs including scheduling and overtime management.
• Document policy violations per Employee Handbook guidelines.
• May act as Store Director in their absence with full accountability for location.
