Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in managing perishable departments and inventory.
• Maintain correct perishable stock levels using store tools.
• Train associates on proper presentation, freshness, and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with food handling rules and safety regulations.
• Record markdowns and manage inventory accuracy.
• Provide customer service and respond to shopper requests.
