Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read diagrams, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with perishable stock management and inventory integrity.
• Train associates on presentation, freshness, and pricing of perishables.
• Maintain sanitation standards and safe handling of food per regulations.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and merchandise presentation is appealing.
