Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in retail grocery with knowledge of Produce, Meat, Seafood, Deli, Floral and Bakeshop
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent years of work experience
• Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively across different functions

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training of all perishable department team members
• Monitor and evaluate performance and ensure development plans for growth
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team
• Manage labor relations to ensure compliance with policies and laws
• Address and resolve employee issues and grievances promptly
• Cultivate a culture of excellence in customer service and stock accuracy
• Coach and provide feedback for efficient operations to control labor costs
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
• Ensure all departments comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions
