Stop & Shop in Gloucester seeks a highly motivated Perishable Manager to oversee Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop operations. You will drive sales growth, ensure top-quality products, and uphold sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards.

You will lead department teams, train staff, and manage labor, inventory, and customer service excellence to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our local community.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent years of work experience.
• Strong ability to influence and communicate across functions.
• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership to guide teams toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Direct training and development for perishable department staff.
• Monitor performance and implement development plans for associates.
• Coach on operational efficiency and labor cost control.
• Ensure well-stocked stores with fresh product offerings.
