Job summary

You will guide associates through hiring, training, and performance reviews, while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant environment across the Frozen Food and Dairy sections.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18; candidates must be 21+ to drive for company business in accordance with policy.
• Two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• High school Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; scheduling and addressing complaints.
• Reviewing historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions.
• Managing inventory to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels.
• Analyzing profit and loss, sales, shrink and labor data; reporting to upper management.
• Maintaining and improving sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
• Enforcing quality control and food safety standards and proper stocking of dated products.
• Promoting product sales through suggestive selling and attractive displays.
• Maintaining stock conditions on frozen food and dairy racks; ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Greet customers, answer questions and respond to complaints with a customer-service mindset.
• Adhering to safety procedures to keep the work environment safe and sanitary.
