Brookshire Grocery Company in Corsicana, TX is seeking a Perishable Manager to lead the frozen dairy department, drive sales, and maintain product quality. You will supervise department staff, manage stock levels, implement safety standards, and ensure display compliance with company policies.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and knowledge of perishable operations. You will train partners, schedule shifts, and promote excellent customer service while upholding regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 21+ to drive for company business per policy.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of related experience; or equivalent.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required where applicable.
• HIPAA certification required where applicable.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certifications where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead department staff including interviewing, hiring, training and development.
• Plan, assign, direct work; appraise performance; handle discipline.
• Review historical data to forecast sales from ads and promotions.
• Manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels; control costs.
• Ensure quality control, food safety, and proper rotation.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling and attractive displays.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment per safety procedures.
