Dollar General in Augusta, AR is seeking a Perishable Department Manager to oversee produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and related operations under the Store Manager. You will help with inventory, merchandising, safety, and staff training to ensure quality customer service and compliance with food handling rules.

As a leader in the Perishable departments, you will ensure accurate stock, proper rotation, and engaging product displays while maintaining a safe environment and protecting company assets.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using planograms and guides.
• Train associates in perishable presentation and safety standards.
• Record inventory levels and analyze markdowns to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and courteously.
