Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages.
Proficient with cash register operations and generating reports.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity through cash accountability and security practices.
Maintain perishable stock levels using store tools and guides (ads, planners, order guides).
Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe food handling.
Record inventory levels and perishable markdowns; analyze causes and take corrective action.
Ensure customers' needs are addressed promptly and maintain quality customer service.
Support compliance with sanitation standards and safety policies across Perishables.
