Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in maintaining perishable stock levels based on store volume.
• Maintain and protect company assets, ensure cash accountability and security practices.
• Train associates on presentation, freshness and pricing standards for perishables.
• Record inventory levels and perishable markdowns; monitor stock rotation and losses.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Ensure sanitation standards and food handling compliance in perishable areas.
