Qualifications

• Education in surgical tech with required credentials.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Formal perioperative care exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a sterile environment through asepsis throughout procedures.
• Assists in organizing supplies and equipment for efficient operation.
• Communicates with the nursing staff and serves as liaison in the OR.
• Collects data and documents patient information per standards.
• Transcribes orders accurately and coordinates appointments.
• Prepares patients for transport and assists with transfers.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team to ensure trays and instruments are ready.
