Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp PACU to support patients before and after anesthesia. You will assess patient status, implement perianesthesia plans, and coordinate care across the team.

Requirements include graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing, active RN licensure, and certifications (BLS/BCLS, ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is involved) within 90 days of employment. This is an on-site, full-time role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• BLS or Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included in scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status according to policy.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide safe medication administration and pain management.
• Transfer care and give accurate hand-off reports.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care.
• Maintain patient rights, privacy, and safety.
