Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring an RN for PreOp and PACU to support a network of ambulatory centers. The role includes assessing preoperative and postoperative status, interpreting monitors, and implementing individualized perianesthesia care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required when pediatric care is included, within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status according to policy.
• Interpret monitors and apply appropriate physiologic knowledge.
• Develop and implement perianesthesia care plans.
• Prepare for and manage recovery from anesthesia across various modalities.
• Transfer care with accurate hand‑offs to the team.
• Provide patient education regarding perioperative care and recovery.
