Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Interpret information from monitors.
• Describe pathophysiology of disease processes.
• Develop perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement plan of care for anesthesia recovery (general, MAC, regional, local).
• Communicate patient status across care continuum.
• Provide age-specific, culturally competent perioperative care.
