Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience.
• Medical / surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications as required.

Aufgaben

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals per policy.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Describe physiology and pathophysiology related to anesthesia and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care including recovery from anesthesia and related care.
• Provide hand-off reports to teammates with concise, pertinent information.
• Collaborate with team and participate in performance improvement.

Kenntnisse

RN license
