SCA Health in McKinney, Texas is seeking a qualified Perioperative/PACU registered nurse to support preoperative and postoperative care across anesthesia recovery areas. You will assess patients, interpret monitors, and develop individualized care plans in alignment with facility policies.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS/BCLS and ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is involved). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Interpret information from noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement plan of care including recovery from anesthesia and related interventions.
• Provide hand-off reports to teammates with concise, relevant information.
• Protect patient safety and dignity and ensure infection control and comfort.
