Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks an OR/MSPU Supply Coordinator to manage perioperative materials and inventories across the Marquam Hill campus. The role coordinates with surgeons, clinicians, and vendors to ensure timely availability for operating rooms, trauma center, and MSPU areas.

You will process requisitions, place orders, monitor stock levels, and participate in process improvements within Oracle and other systems.

Qualifications

• Four years of full-time purchasing experience or inventory management.
• Experience in supply chain management and purchasing practices.
• Process improvement and coordination of supply replenishment.
• An Associates or Bachelor's degree can replace two years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and creates requisitions submitted by the department for accuracy.
• Generates purchase requisitions according to policies and procedures.
• Determines specifications, quantities, product availability, procurement methods, and sources of supply.
• Maintains records of product lines, availability, price, purchase terms, and vendor performance.
• Places purchase orders with suppliers.
• Maintains parts of item file.
• Requisitioning associated with perioperative services is complex given the specialized nature of supplies.
