Job summary

Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT is seeking an inventory coordinator to manage perioperative and clinical program supplies. You will coordinate replenishment, picking, staging, delivery, put away, and substitutions using SOPs and a standard WMS.

You will collaborate with Field Logistics and clinical teams to meet patient care needs, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper storage for temperature-sensitive items.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working with PeriOp/Inventory.
• Experience with prioritizing multiple tasks, organizing teams with multiple levels of caregivers, and meeting deadlines.
• History of inventory control such as cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Demonstrated examples of strong cross functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory management activity to meet facility or clinical program needs.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory relief per SOPs.
• Keep supplies binned and organized for easy access.
• Act as liaison with Field Logistics Management and clinical program staff.
• Order and deliver supplies using SOPs and approved vendors.
• Manage Consignment or Vendor Managed Inventory per SCO SOPs.
• Ensure proper storage of temperature-sensitive products per guidelines.
• Ensure shipping, receiving, and tissue tracking docs are completed per policy.
