Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to oversee perioperative supply chain activities across affiliated hospitals in Utah. The role involves replenishment, picking, staging, receiving, and coordinating with clinical and SPD teams to ensure patient care supplies are available.

Responsibilities include managing PAR levels, cycle counts, and Vendor Managed Inventory while adhering to SCO SOPs. Strong cross-functional teamwork and precise documentation are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with PeriOp/Inventory.
• Experience prioritizing multiple tasks and coordinating teams.
• History of inventory control such as cycle counts and physical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory management to meet facility needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to serve customers timely.
• Perform inventory control for stock and non-stock items and adjust par levels.
• Keep supplies organized and labeled.
• Act as liaison with Field Logistics and clinical program staff.
• Order and deliver supplies using SOPs and approved vendors.
• Manage Consignment or Vendor Managed Inventory per SCO SOPs.
• Ensure replenishment activity in assigned locations aligns with SOPs.
• Follow SOPs for temperature-sensitive products and proper storage.
• Complete shipping, receiving, delivery, and tissue-tracking documentation as required.
• Communicate supply levels, new products, back orders, and product changes to stakeholders.
• Ensure MMIS distribution, receiving, and reporting comply with audits and regulations.
• Adhere to cycle counts and inventory relief procedures.
• Understand and apply Supply Chain SOPs, reports and tools.
