Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) seeks an OR/MSPU Supply Coordinator to manage perioperative materials and inventories across the Marquam Hill campus. The role coordinates with surgeons, clinicians, and vendors to ensure timely availability for operating rooms, trauma center, and MSPU areas.
You will process requisitions, place orders, monitor stock levels, and participate in process improvements within Oracle and other systems.
The Perioperative Materials Department, part of the Supply Management division within Supply Chain and Logistics, operates in alignment with Oregon Health & Science University's (OHSU) commitment to excellence. Based on the Marquam Hill campus, the department plays a critical role in supporting healthcare partners by ensuring the availability of essential supplies for a Level One Trauma Center and multiple Operating and Procedure Rooms. Work locations can vary based on Operating and Procedure Room location in South Hospital, Doernbecher Children's Hospital, or Center for Health and Healing Ambulatory Hospital. The in-office location provides direct access to managed inventory and supports close coordination with the staff reporting to this role. We operate in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment where exceptional customer service and unwavering dedication are essential to success. The OR/MSPU Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing materials, overseeing medical supply inventories, and coordinating vendor relationships to support the highest quality care in a cost-effective manner. This position focuses specifically on disposable supply needs associated with Perioperative (OR) Services and Multi-Specialty Procedure Unit (MSPU) areas. It is distinguished from other Supply Chain roles by its specialized emphasis on surgical supply requirements, as well as the increased complexity and critical impact of the assigned responsibilities.
Requires wearing scrubs and being in/out of the operating rooms and clean core material storage areas. Requires standing and walking for most of the day. This position is 100% in person with no remote work available.
