Job summary

Brigham and Women\'s Faulkner Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and CRNAs in perioperative care. You will assist with patient transfer, equipment setup, airway management preparation, and post-operative patient care in a fast-paced OR environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining anesthesia equipment, ensuring sterile technique, and coordinating with the biomedical and nursing teams to uphold patient safety and efficiency in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 6 months hospital experience required.
• Previous anesthesia tech experience preferred.
• Staff adheres to all I C.A.R.E. Standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in perioperative anesthesia care to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Transfers patients from stretcher/bed and attaches vital signs.
• Assists in intubation procedures under supervision of the anesthetist/anesthesiologist.
• Maintains and cleans anesthesia equipment and supplies in multiple locations.
• Monitors and coordinates equipment availability and transfers to PACU after surgery.
